Trucking’s Golden Years

The good ol’ days. You hear that phrase a lot. The seemingly perfect era when all was right with the world, and nothing was wrong. It seems like every person has his or her “golden years,” But for Pete, he’s been living them his whole life.

He admits technology has changed some things, but it’s all relative. He’s still one man with eighteen wheels and a steering wheel, and that’s the way he likes it. “I just enjoy it out here,” he explains, “I don’t get upset, I don’t get excited when someone cuts me off or gets in my way.” Instead, he just shakes it off. He knows nothing’s worth getting hot and bothered about as long as your heart is still pumping and the love of your life is waiting for you at home.
